Account Maintenance Process for Inactive Drexel Accounts

On Tuesday, August 23, 2022, Drexel IT implemented a new management process for accounts inactive for more than 180 days.

Under this new process - gradually implemented over the following weeks - accounts that have not been active or authenticated in the last 180 days will be disabled prior to deletion. Accounts disabled and inactive for a further 200 days will be flagged for permanent deletion. After deletion, accounts are no longer recoverable.

Note: Any email, OneDrive, and other data associated with the account will be lost with account deletion.

Before the deletion date, account owners who wish to reactivate their accounts must contact the Drexel Accounts Office at accounts@drexel.edu.
