Pro Bono and Public Interest Director Rashida West Elected to NALP Post

Rashida West was chosen for a post as conference planning coordinator in the Mid-Atlantic Region in the 2017 elections of NALP, the National Association for Law Placement Inc.

West is the law school’s director for pro bono and public interest programs, coordinating and overseeing thousands of hours of pro bono service provided by students and providing advice and guidance on public interest activities.

A member of the adjunct faculty who previously served as a staff attorney at the Support Center for Child Advocates in Philadelphia, West teaches Children and the Law.

West received her JD from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law.

NALP is an association of more than 2,500 legal career professional who advise law students, lawyers, law offices and law schools.
