Professor Robert I. Field appeared on the Singapore news station Channel8-TV on January 28. In the segment, Field suggested that President Biden could “work with the supply chain” to help advance the distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine. Field stated that coordinating the supply chain is where the distribution in the U.S. had stumbled previously.

Field also suggested that if a federal mandate for the COVID-19 vaccine were established, U.S. state law that allows individuals to reject a vaccine for such reasons as religious beliefs, medical conditions, etc. would likely apply.
