Office of Student Affairs The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) provides a wide range of services and programs to our students. Our primary responsibility is to provide the necessary information, resources, guidance and support to enable our students to both accomplish academic goals and develop the skills, competency and character necessary to serve with distinction as members of the legal profession. Kevin P. Oates Senior Associate Dean of Students and Administration Dean Oates oversees the Office of Student Affairs and the Academic Support program. The Senior Associate Dean of Students and Administration grants approvals for leaves of absences, withdrawals, and exam deferrals. He also works with the governing board of the Student Bar Association on issues of student governance and the functioning and funding of student organizations.
