Inspire a Child to Dream Day

Thursday, April 23, 2015

8:00 AM-2:30 PM

Drexel's annual Inspire a Child to Dream Day, which is modeled after the national “Take Our Daughters And Sons To Work®” program, will take place on April 23 from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Children and relatives between the ages of 6 and 13 of Drexel University faculty and professional staff members, including the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University, will be invited to attend a day of learning and fun activities. To get the children involved in civic engagement, we are asking that each child who attends brings a new or gently used children's/adolescents book (English or bilingual, English/Spanish) to be donated to St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, an organization with which Drexel has a partnership. In addition, the Drexel community can also participate in the book drive now through Thursday, April 23. Please drop off your books to one of the following locations: • Human Resources (University City) – 3201 Arch Street, Suite 430 • Human Resources (Center City) – The Bellet Building, 1505 Race Street, 1st Floor • Human Resources (The Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University) – 1900 Benjamin Franklin Parkway For additional information on Inspire a Child to Dream Day visit: http://drexel.edu/hr/about/events/inspire/.
