WHAT DEGREE IS OFFERED?

A Bachelor of Architecture Degree (B.ARCH)

IS THIS A TRADITIONAL DREXEL UNIVERSITY COOP PROGRAM?

NO! This program is based on full time employment that supplements part-time study in the evening. Students are assisted with resume and portfolio development to apply for professional job opportunities posted on a secure web site. Students are responsible for acquiring their own jobs based on their skill sets and current marketplace conditions. Employment in architectural firms is highly recommended, but not required.

HOW TO APPLY?

Go to the Westphal Home page, drexel.edu/westphal. Click on APPLY in the upper left corner. On the Admissions Web Site click on Part-Time Undergraduate admissions and start the application process.

WHAT IS THE COST OF THE DEGREE?

The B.ARCH degree requires a total of 227-quarter credits. The University allows a maximum of 90-quarter credits to be transferred. This is a part-time program. Only 11.5 credits per quarter are permitted to qualify for the architecture evening tuition rate, which is less than half of the full time day rate.

WHEN IS THE APPLICATION DEADLINE?

There is no deadline, however transfer students applying for Fall Studio starts are strongly advised to have completed applications by August 15.

AS A TRANSFER WHERE WILL I START IN THE PROGRAM?

In order to determine placement in the program, you must apply to determine the number of transfer credits that may be applied to your plan of study. NOTE: A minimum grade of “C” is required for credit transfer. Semester based credits are multiplied by 1.5 to translate into the quarter based terms at Drexel University.
