Faculty Interest Groups

Our most fundamental human social need is the need to belong, or to feel connected with and accepted by others.

We often feel that connection most strongly with people who share our interests and who have faced similar challenges. The following are the currently active faculty interest groups.

Drexel Women Faculty Association

The Drexel Women Faculty Association supports all women faculty at the University, including women at all academic ranks and all colleges, schools, and disciplines. The mission of the group is to improve and enrich the professional environment for women faculty at Drexel and to ensure that the University continues and strengthens its commitment to the success of its women faculty members.

The group will meet monthly to discuss topics of interest to women faculty, including issues relevant to their professional and personal lives, the University community, and work-life balance. All faculty who identify as women are welcome to join.

Propose a New Faculty Interest Group

New faculty interest groups are always welcome.  If you would like to propose a new faculty interest group that connects to Drexel’s DEI mission, please reach out to the Vice Provost for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

Other Resource Groups at Drexel

In addition to faculty interest groups that offer faculty-specific support, the Office for Institutional Equity and Inclusive Culture is home to colleague resource groups (CRGs) that support Drexel employees more broadly.
