Al Vario, EdD has more than 30 years of nonprofit leadership experience in agency and hospital settings. He has an EdD in Organizational Leadership and Communication from Northeastern University in Boston, as well as an MA in Psychology and a BS in Health Education and Community Health from Rhode Island College in Providence, RI. His areas of interest include organizational culture, strategic planning and data-driven decision making. His doctoral research focused on nonprofit sustainability and innovation. Currently, he is the President and Chief Executive Officer of a nonprofit human service organization in Warwick, RI.
