Civil, Architectural, and Environmental Engineering Summer Institute

2024 CAEE Summer Institute
August 5 - 9

Are you an aspiring engineer looking for a hands-on summer experience?

Explore civil, architectural, and environmental engineering while learning about designing and maintaining infrastructure projects, designing buildings that work, and designing systems, processes, and policies enabling people to co-exist more sustainably with the environment during a week-long summer institute!

Program Overview

Students working in lab

Participants will learn about the three engineering majors in the CAEE Department at Drexel University, namely Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, and Environmental Engineering (CAEE). After attending the Summer Institute, participants will better understand these three majors so they can use this information to help choose their engineering major when applying to universities.  The Summer Institute will also cover important information such as different career paths, sample occupations, and typical employers for each major.

Who: Rising 10th, 11th, and 12th grade high school students interested in engineering.
When: August 5 - August 9, 2024
