Summer Institutes

High School Engineering and Science Camps

These week-long institutes provide aspiring engineers with a hands-on summer experience.

• The Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) Summer Institute gives aspiring scientists and engineers the chance to learn about how atomic elements arrange themselves to form the materials that are all around us.

• In the Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering (CAEE) Summer Institute students will design buildings, infrastructure projects that focus on sustainability and environmentalism and the processes and systems that run our cities. 

• The Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Summer Institute will give aspiring engineers, IT professionals, and scientists the fundamental disciplines of ECE. You will learn things like: signal processing, computer hardware and software, circuits, and algorithms, all of which contribute to the technology that powers our world, from video games to self-driving cars.
