Behavioral Health Counseling Department. >>
The Bachelor of Science Degree Program in Behavioral Health Counseling (BHC) engages students in the development of essential skills in the treatment of mental health and substance use disorders. It is the first program to be nationally accredited for preparing future addictions counseling professionals. Graduates are also eligible for certification as psychiatric rehabilitation practitioners and are in high demand for jobs in mental health and addictions treatment settings.

Accelerated Career Entry Department. >>

The Accelerated Career Entry (ACE) B.S.N. Department offers an 11-month program for college graduates who are interested in pursuing a nursing career via an accelerated baccalaureate educational path. The program’s high quality education and professional preparation is evident in the graduates' outstanding board pass rates which have been consistently at 97%-99% since the program's inception in 2001. Upon licensure, Drexel University ACE B.S.N. graduates are well-prepared to begin exciting careers in a variety of nursing specialties such as research, education, clinical practice, or administration. Cooperative Education Department. >>

Drexel University’s B.S.N. Co-op Program offers students the combined benefits of a nationally recognized undergraduate nursing curriculum, with 6-18 months of “real world” work experience integrated into the academic plan of study. Graduates earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing, are highly qualified for entry-level professional nursing positions, consistently demonstrate a 97-100% first time pass rate on the NCLEX-RN licensure examination, and are eligible for graduate study leading to advanced-practice roles. Couple and Family Therapy Department. >>
The Couple and Family Therapy Department offers the following programs: Doctoral Program in Couple and Family Therapy, Master of Family Therapy, Post-Master’s Certificate Program in Couple and Family and the online Medical Family Therapy Certificate Program. The department values cultural diversity, social justice, person of the therapist training, and is cutting edge in its use of simulated laboratory education and training.

Creative Arts Therapies Department. >>
Drexel University’s Department of Creative Arts Therapies is a community of faculty and students working to serve society through the education of competent, compassionate professionals in the creative arts therapy disciplines of Art Therapy, Dance/Movement Therapy, and Music Therapy.


Doctoral Nursing Department. >>
The Doctoral Nursing Department includes a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree (DrNP), a hybrid professional doctorate that emphasizes both advanced practice and practical clinical research. Founded in 2005, it is among the oldest practice nursing doctorates in the U.S. A PhD is in the final planning stages.

Health Services Administration program prepares students for administrative or managerial positions in the ever-expanding health care industry.

The Pathways to Health Professions program provides a solid foundation for students who will proceed after graduation to post-baccalaureate and graduate programs in the health professions.

Nurse Anesthesia Department. >>
The Nurse Anesthesia Department offers a full-time, 28 month program preparing students to become skilled, safe nurse anesthetists. Graduates are eligible to sit for the examination qualifying them as certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNA). The College of Nursing and Health Professions offers a nurse practitioner department specializing in adult acute care, family, pediatric primary care, adult psychiatric mental health and women's health. Physician Assistant Department. >>
The Physician Assistant Department offers entry level and advanced master’s of health science degrees accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant, Inc. (ARC-PA). The programs aim to educate qualified primary care physician assistants, promote the physician assistant profession, and improve health care delivery in medically underserved rural areas.

Radiologic Technology Department. >>
The Radiologic Technology department educates students through an integrated plan of classroom work and closely supervised clinical practica. Graduates of the programs are fully prepared to be competent and compassionate radiologic health care providers.

R.N. to B.S.N. Department. >>
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing program continues the education of registered nurses to prepare them for the rapidly changing health care environment. Students are educated as generalists to meet the needs of vulnerable populations through mastery of new and emerging roles for the professional nurse. A B.S.N. is awarded at the completion of the program. An R.N.-B.S.N.-M.S.N. option is available for certain tracks in the Division of Graduate Nursing.
