Digital Media & Virtual Production Major and Sequence Sheets

The following plans of study are linked to the Course Catalog and are for review purposes only. Several factors influence the sequencing of those courses including: transfer credits, AP credits, academic year entering the program and programmatic changes. Students should refer to their individualized DegreeWorks account and consult with their Academic Advisor to ensure they meet all degree requirements in a timely manner.

Co-op Options

Through Drexel’s renowned cooperative education program, students embark on up to three, six-month periods of full-time employment, exploring their career options, strengthening their resumes and building a professional network in the process. The Digital Media & Virtual Production major offers two options for students:

  • Three Co-op (Five year degree)
  • One Co-op (Four year degree)

Digital Media & Virtual Production majors co-op with companies such as the Franklin Institute Science Museum, History Making Productions, Night Kitchen, Toll Brothers, and YouTube VR.

Accelerated Program Option for Digital Media & Virtual Production Majors

For students interested in completing both a bachelors as well as an advanced degree, the Digital Media & Virtual Production program offers the option to enter an accelerated BSMS degree in Digital Media after completing at least 90 but no more than 120 undergraduate credits. Acceptance into the accelerated program is open to outstanding students with a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.2 and a successful portfolio review by the Digital Media faculty. The accelerated program offers qualified students to earn a master’s degree in digital media in addition to a bachelor’s degree in Digital Media & Virtual Production within an accelerated period.
