Jack Hinton is Associate Curator of European Decorative Arts and Sculpture at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. He studied History of Art (BA) at the Courtauld Institute of Art, London, and History of Design (MA RCA) at the Royal College of Art and Victoria & Albert Museum, London. A specialist in Renaissance decorative arts, his responsibilities in the Department of European Decorative Arts & Sculpture at the PMA range from medieval art and architecture to the present day. Jack is currently working on an exhibition by the contemporary designers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, and on a book entitled “Renaissance Treasures,” about the medieval and Renaissance masterpieces acquired by the museum in 1930 with the Edmond Foulc Collection.
