Recent Grad Night Out

Recent grads are taking over Libertee Grounds, co-owned by Drexel alum, Priyank Rambhia ’16, for some Alumni Weekend fun. The night includes mini golf, craft beer, canned cocktails and seltzers, Asian-style street food and guaranteed good times!

Clue at the Black Box Theater

In celebration of Mandell Theater's 50th anniversary, attend opening night of Clue, presented by Drexel University students. Based on the iconic 1985 movie and classic board game, Clue is a hilarious comedic farce-meets- murder mystery where six mysterious guests assemble for an unusual dinner party. University City 5K

For the over 30 years, proceeds from the University City 5K have directly supported the Nicholas P. Pipino Memorial Scholarship at Drexel University. Family Day at ANS

9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University
For some Alumni Weekend family fun, bring your little (or not so little!) Dragons to the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University. Enjoy a light meal and explore the exhibits and artifacts of the Academy before it opens to the public. Check out the Wonders of Weather Show in the Auditorium at 11 a.m. where you'll watch lightning strike, see a cloud form, then marvel as it all turns into a tornado before your eyes! A live sloth experience and behind-the-scenes tours are available as add-on activities that guests must register for separately.

Family Day at ANS Add On: Live Animal Experience

9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University
Travel to the most diverse ecosystem on the planet! Under the Canopy Live Animal Experience is an immersive exhibition introducing you to the fascinating world of rainforests and the animals that inhabit them, including a meet-and-greet with a sloth (if she is feeling up to it) and other animals! This experience will take place from 10 to 11 a.m.

Family Day at ANS Add On: Behind-the-Scenes Tours

9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; Meet in the Commons; Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University
Get exclusive, behind-the-scenes tours of the Academy’s library and archives, as well as its invertebrate paleontology and ornithology collections. Guests must be 16 or older to participate. These tours will take place from 1 to 2 p.m.

You must register for Family Day at ANS in order to add on the Behind-the-Scenes Tours.

Drexel After Dark

6:30 to 9:30 p.m.; Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts
Enjoy exclusive access to PAFA at this festive reception for all alumni from Drexel University, College of Medicine and its legacy schools. Graze your way through heavy hors d'oeuvre stations, enjoy an open beer and wine bar and dance the night away! In addition, take in the beautiful PAFA student artwork on display.

Guests may arrive at 6 p.m. for exclusive access to PAFA’s Historic Landmark Building and explore its main exhibit, Artists As Cultivators, which examines how artists have fostered and sustained critical social dialogues over three centuries through their use of nature as a subject, theme and material. Access to the Historic Landmark Building will be limited from 6 to 7 p.m.
