Learn about the NJ Cannabis Training Academy with Executive Director Tauhid Chappell

The Medical Cannabis Research Center's speaker Tauhid Chappell, is the inaugural Executive Director of the New Jersey State Department’s Cannabis Training Academy.

In addition to his work at the New Jersey State Department, Tauhid is an Adjunct Professor of Equity Movements, Impact and Outcomes in Cannabis at Thomas Jefferson University and also currently serves as an Executive Board Member of the Philadelphia Association of Black Journalists. Previously, Tauhid has worked for The Washington Post, Philadelphia Inquirer, Free Press, and now leads the Philadelphia CannaBusiness Association – Pennsylvania’s first Black-owned and Black-led cannabis nonprofit.

Tauhid will be discussing his role at the New Jersey State Department’s Cannabis Training Academy and how the Academy will offer opportunities for training current and aspiring cannabis industry professionals.
