The Robert and Penny Fox Historic Costume Collection at Drexel University is celebrating the opening of their custom-built gallery with The Fox Collection, 2008-2018: A Decade of Renewal. 

In recent years, the collection has undergone an intense period of redevelopment.  These changes have included the hiring of a professional-trained curator, Clare Sauro, in 2008 and the construction of a new storage facility in Drexel University's URBN Center in 2012 that provides previously imagined access to researchers.  This continued with the renaming of the collection in 2014 in recognition of a generous gift from Robert and Penny Fox.  Support from the Foxes continued with a second gift in 2015 to expand the existing storage facility and create a dedicated costume gallery and research area.  

A Decade of Renewal will be the first exhibition in the new dedicated costume gallery and will display a selection of recent acquisitions.

The Gallery is located in the URBN Center at 3501 Market Street.  Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 9 am to 3 pm.  Visitors can access the gallery between 3 pm and 5 pm by appointment only.
