Welcome to the Vince and Judy Vidas Systems Engineering (SYSE) program, which began through the generous endowment from Drexel’s alumni, Vince and Judy Vidas. Our goal is to develop tomorrow’s engineering leaders by leveraging our strong relationships with industry and continuing to build industry-based partnerships. As a #7 ranked program, according to U.S. News and World reports, graduates are prepared to design, develop, and execute the implementation of successful systems which will have a significant impact in society.

In a world of accelerating and technological change, engineering systems today are increasingly complex, costly, and critical — leaving no room for error. The comprehensive curriculum in the MS in Systems Engineering degree will prepare you to become highly capable systems engineer, technical leader, manager or executive in a wide range of industries.

We also boast an accomplished and diverse faculty with significant experiences in both academia and industry with a balance of engineering applications across commercial and defense industries. The program is flexible, with both online and face-to-face options, and can be tailored to your specific needs and to your fields of interest — whether you’re a working professional or a full-time student.

The program is certified by the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE), only one of just seven graduate programs in the United States to receive this distinction. The certification permits graduates to bypass the examination for the Systems Engineering Professional (SEP), allowing them to receive this credentialing automatically.

Thank you for your interest. I encourage you to apply to our program and let us be a part of your academic journey and success at Drexel University.
