Double-Masking Can Increase Your Protection. but Not All Masks Should Be Layered.

Neal D. Goldstein, PhD, an assistant research professor in the Dornsife School of Public Health, was quoted in a Feb. 15 Philadelphia Inquirer article about when double-masking is recommended and how to ensure a mask fits well.

“[R]egardless of the type of mask you’re wearing, you still have to follow the basic health guidelines — social distancing, proper hand hygiene, avoiding crowds,” says Goldstein.
