Biography

Before coming to Drexel, Wajeeha Choudhary received her B.A. in Sociology and Religion at Temple University in Philadelphia. At Temple, Wajeeha engaged in several independent, research intensive projects, particularly pertaining to her sociological interests in race and ethnicity, and intersections of gender. Searching for a new home that would cater to her sociological background and burgeoning interest in communication and media studies, Wajeeha chose CCM to pursue doctoral studies.
