Bio:

After earning Ed.D. in TESOL from Temple University in 2012, Maria Volynsky joined Drexel University as an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Department of English and Philosophy. In 2014, she was appointed to the position of an ESL Coordinator and an Associate Director of the First Year Writing Program, and in 2018, promoted to an Associate Teaching Professor. Prior to working at Drexel University, she taught English Composition, Spanish, Russian, as well as education courses at Chestnut Hill College, Penn State, Temple University, Bucks County Community College, University of Georgia, SNHU, and Kazan State University (Russia). Most of Maria Volynsky’s course load at Drexel is teaching English Composition to multilingual writers (ENGL 111, 112, and 113), but she also teaches English Composition to native speakers of English (ENGL 101, 102, and 103). Her area of expertise and passion is writing, TESOL, methods of teaching, and linguistics.
