Bio:

Llana Carroll, PhD, is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Department of English and Philosophy at Drexel University, where she teaches in the First-Year Writing Program. Llana values writing as mode of inquiry and encourages students to reflect on their experiences in relationship to broader social concerns. Before arriving at Drexel, she helped launch the Writing and Critical Inquiry Program at the University at Albany, SUNY, and taught in the Expository Writing Program at NYU, where she was a consultant in the Writing Center and the Writing in the Disciplines Program. She has published in Feminist Teacher and Women’s Studies: An Interdisciplinary Journal. A native of Philadelphia, she is happy to have landed at Drexel.
