Bio:

Dan teaches first-year and upper-level writing classes. Through his work in the University Writing Program, he helps colleagues across Drexel integrate writing in their courses and draw on best writing practices to support their students’ writing work. Dan has received the Barbara G. Hornum Award for Teaching Excellence (2014), the Pennoni Honors College Award for Outstanding Teaching in the Honors Program (2016), and the Student Life Rafiki “Friend” Award (2008).
