The LLM degree is designed for experienced domestic and international attorneys who are looking for advanced skills in legal regulatory analysis and policy pertinent to cybersecurity and data/information privacy. Due to both expanding government regulation and the significant operational risk posed by cybersecurity threats, legal employers, including law firms, government agencies, and law departments, seek lawyers with a deeper understanding of the manner in which the evolving cyber-landscape affects their clients and business interests. LLM students must hold a JD or its international equivalent (LLB). This degree is not designed to prepare students for any bar examination.
