  • Workshops: Publishing a Web Page: SFTP with SSH

In order to publish a personal or student organization web page, it is necessary to use an SSH client, available from https:\\software.drexel.edu. The dunx1 Academic Unix server only accept secure file transfer, or SFTP. You must activate your University Academic Unix account. To acquire this account, go to http://accounts.drexel.edu and sign in with your current userid and password. If you do not have a Unix account, click the Activate Academic Unix button at the lower portion of your account list. The default condition is FTP with no login; however if you wish, you should turn on the Unix shell feature of your Academic Unix account. Click the Shell icon in square brackets next to your Academic Unix account and choose your preferred shell type.
