CRITICAL RESEARCH ACTIVITIES are defined as research activities that would result in one or more of the following if not continued:

  • pose a safety hazard
  • negatively impact the care of patients in clinical trials,
  • cause the loss of irreplaceable samples, data or animal populations,
  • cause irreparable harm to critical equipment in facilities and laboratories,
  • Other (case-by-case review and approval by supervisor)
