Dino Pelliccia received an MFA in painting and a BA in Fine Arts and Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania. He has taught at Louisiana State University, The University of Maine at Orono, Temple-Tyler, and has now been at Drexel for the last 22 years. He has received several awards for painting, two Pennsylvania Council Grants in sculpture and been awarded a residency at The Andy Warhol Conservancy. He has shown widely and was represented by Gallery Joe in Philadelphia. He lives and works in both Philadelphia and Maine. He is sometimes known as Orlando Pelliccia.
