Currently, Brian Moore serves as Program Director of Entertainment & Arts Management, and works with nonprofit organizations in fund development, strategic planning, communications and marketing, and executive management. Moore is also an Assistant Professor at Drexel University in the Entertainment and Arts Management and Graduate Arts Administration programs - where he teaches, among others, Fund Development, Trends In Fund Development, Writing for the Arts, Performing Arts Management, Promotion & Public Relations, and serves as a graduate thesis and senior project advisor.

Prior to entering the nonprofit world, Moore worked in the commercial entertainment industry, first as an artist then in management. He also has more than 10 years experience in entertainment public relations in New York City and Los Angeles. In New York, he worked for Boneau/Bryan-Brown, the leading Broadway PR house, where his work on projects included over a dozen Broadway and Off-Broadway productions and individual artists including Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, The Who’s Tommy, and Angels In America, Pts 1 & II. In Los Angeles, Moore ran his own boutique PR firm representing a wild array of clients: celebrities (such as everyone’s favorite middle child, Eve Plumb, a.k.a. Jan Brady), feature films, national theatrical tours, non-profit organizations, authors, one British psychic, and an anti-vivisection organization.

In Philadelphia, Moore was Director of Development for the Wilma Theater, Program Associate for the Philadelphia Theatre Initiative, and Program Manager for the Philadelphia Cultural Management Initiative, both programs of The Pew Charitable Trusts. Most recently he was the Managing Director of The Philadelphia Shakespeare Festival. He has served on several grant review panels for the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts and locally for the Philadelphia Cultural Fund.

Prior to leaving LA for Philadelphia to pursue the MS in Arts Administration from Drexel University, Moore's educational journey included getting a BFA in Theatre: Acting/Directing from Marshall University and the MFA in Acting from Louisiana State University's Professional Actor Training Program under the leadership and direction of John Dennis, former Artistic Director of the Resident Ensemble of the Mark Taper Forum Theatre in Los Angeles.
