Judith Bing has been a member of the Architecture faculty since 1988. She coordinated and taught in the Two + Four Option from 1992 to 2010. She also taught upper level design studios, courses on modern architecture, and a vernacular architecture seminar. Her research focuses on vernacular architecture of the Balkans, where she has traveled extensively, and lectured, written, and exhibited photographs and drawings about this topic. She is a registered architect and practiced as a partner of Bing Harrington Architects in Philadelphia. Now retired, she continues as an emeritus member of the Architecture faculty and is pursuing research projects from her base on the coast of Maine.
