Boris Charmatz is widely known for questioning the distinction between performance and visual art, reframing dance performance as a temporal extension of curated visual art. Ana Janevski, Associate Curator in the Department of Media and Performance Art at the Museum of Modern Art is the first curator to have presented Charmatz’ work in the US. She will preview the performance and contextualize Charmatz’ work.
