d&m Magazine is the result of a two-term project that allows a group of talented, ambitious, creative and dedicated Design & Merchandising seniors to experience hands on the challenges and rewards of commercial publication. The publication won two awards for its 2013 edition. The Association for Education in Journalism & Mass Communication awarded d&m magazine first place in the "single issue of an ongoing magazine" category, recognizing the publication with a "General Excellence" award. Additionally, d&m Magazine won a Gold Award in the 43rd Creativity International Print & Packaging Awards for the "Publications - Magazine Design, Complete, Single Unit" category.

Style Section of the Drexel Triangle Established in 1926, the Triangle is the independent weekly student newspaper of Drexel University. The Style section is home to columns featuring D&M magazine, Drexel Fashion and Philly Wares/Wears/Wheres. The Triangle is widely circulated across Drexel’s campuses. Pick up a copy next time you’re on campus. The project will launch Fall 2012.
The Journal of Culture and Retail Image is an officially recognized, peer-reviewed undergraduate journal that showcases outstanding student academic papers. The journal’s goal is to synthesize visual art ideas into a scholarly format. The Journal of Culture and Retail Image is a joint effort of the Design & Merchandising program and Drexel Libraries, with help from the University's Writing Center.
d&m students produce the Drexel Fashion Show which showcases the work of the Fashion Design students and hits the runway each spring. Beginning in February each year, the Drexel Fashion Show Facebook page posts the latest news and images, setting the stage for the annual event.
The d&mShop is a retail store operated by Design & Merchandising students within the Westphal College of Media Arts and Design at Drexel University. It affords students the hands-on opportunity to learn how to operate a business enterprise. The retail store offers the public the opportunity to browse and shop for unique and limited edition items made by students, faculty, staff and alumni. You can shop in the store or online. The store usually pops-up in the URBN Center lobby (3501 Market St.) but a full calendar of events and locations is available here. Presented on Pinterest, d&m's ART of the Window project is an ongoing visual record and celebration of successful window displays from Philadelphia and beyond. Students, faculty, peers and alumna are invited to submit images for review. Faculty will curate the collection. Follow us on Pinterest
d&mMagazine blog enhances the magazine experience, presenting an outlet for timely information and tracing the magazine development process. This blog also includes up-to-date information about “Drexel Fashion”, the annual spring student fashion show. It is active from October 1 – May 15. The d&mMagazine blog is faculty edited.
d&m abroad. Many Design & Merchandising students elect to spend time abroad during their course of study at Drexel. Students select programs in locations including: London, Prague, Dublin, Melbourne, Crete, and Iceland. They’ve been sharing their experiences since 2009. This student-directed, self-edited blog is most active in the Summer term.
d&m@Work is a student-edited blog that shares a spectrum of co-op and internship experiences. This blog is active year round.
