International Transfer Students
In addition to the University policy, International Transfer Students are required to have all credits earned at colleges/universities outside of the United States reviewed by an International Accreditation Agency who conducts Foreign Credit Evaluations. Transfer credits will be reviewed and/or applied after the foreign credit evaluation has been received by the Westphal College Office of Student Services.
One Foreign Credit agency is WES (World Education Services). If a student selects WES to complete their course-by-course evaluation, he/she can contact WES at http://www.wes.org or (212) 966-6311.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Why are Foreign Credit Evaluations necessary?
- Institutions of higher education outside of the United States may have unique credit values, grading systems and/or accreditation standards. In order to match foreign transcripts with our University/College, the evaluation is necessary.
- Is there a fee associated with foreign credit evaluations?
- Yes, the agency that conducts the evaluation will charge the applicant/student a fee for their service.
- I am a domestic student who has attended a US University and studied abroad while attending that school. Do I need to submit a foreign credit evaluation for these courses?
- No, your domestic "home school" will apply your international credits to their transcript.
First Term Schedule
In accordance with university policy, all incoming students are registered for their first term courses by the Office of Student Services. Course selections are made by the program in which the student is entering.
The Student's schedule will be posted and viewable no later then September 01 via the Drexel-One portal.
Frequently Asked Questions

- Some courses include a lecture and recitation which list each portion separately.
