Networking
Network with current arts administration students, faculty, Philadelphia area cultural leaders and elected officials through participating in Arts Advocacy Day, through the AAGA blog, and by joining the arts administration yahoo group. Also be sure to check out where our alumni are currently working and start networking with some valuable contacts within the Greater Philadelphia region.
Arts Advocacy Day
Every year in March the AAGA sends graduate students to Washington, DC to participate in Arts Advocacy Day. This national arts action summit is organized by Americans for the Arts in order to bring together individuals involved in cultural and civic organizations and grassroots advocacy for the arts. Drexel Arts Administration students engage in unique opportunities to network on a national level and spend time meeting with their local legislators on Capital Hill. The AAGA is able to offer this experience to our graduate students because of the Annual Art Auction. The Drexel Arts Administration Graduate Program is one of the highest participating programs in Arts Advocacy Day.
