Ensembles Program

Keyboard Ensembles

The Drexel Keyboard Ensemble I is a learning based group that works to develop skills for the keyboard player in an orchestra-like environment. Students should have completed Class Piano 1 and 2, or have similar ability. The ensemble teaches beginner ensemble skills and acts as a training group for Keyboard Ensemble II

The Drexel Keyboard Ensemble II is a performance based ensemble that prepares and plays a concert each term. This group continues to teach performance and ensemble skills, but provides a performance opportunity for students with greater technical ability. Acceptance into this group is by audition only. Performance scholarships are available for this group. Auditions for scholarships are generally held during Accepted Student's Weekend, which will be held April 12th and 13th, but may be scheduled at any time by contacting Ms. Wanda Canfield, director at wandamusic@aol.com, or call (215)895-4915.
