Education & Research

The Fox Historic Costume Collection has proven to be an important educational resource for a variety of disciplines, including fashion design, interior design, theater, film, history, and library & archival studies. The Antoinette Westphal ’59 Historic Costume Research & Conservation Laboratory in the URBN Center has greatly improved the accessibility of the FHCC for students and faculty and will enable the collection to become a significant resource for a wider community of historians, scholars, artists, and designers.

Make An Appointment

The Fox Historic Costume Collection is visited by hundreds of students and researchers annually,  a number that has been growing exponentially since move to URBN Center. Although every effort is made to accommodate faculty requests, access to the collection is by appointment only and at the discretion of the FHCC staff. Due to conservation needs, not all items are available for class & research appointments.

Please contact us at fhcc@drexel.edu to arrange your visit.
