MSNBC's J.J. Ramberg

January 11, 2016

In addition to hosting MSNBC’s “Your Business,” J.J. Ramberg is a regular contributor to NBC’s TODAY Show on small business and financial issues, as well as the co-author of It's Your Business: 183 Essential Tips that Will Transform Your Small Business, an instant Wall Street Journal bestseller. On Thursday, January 28, Ramberg will visit Drexel to share her expert financial insight for small businesses in a free-to-the-public lecture, hosted by Westphal College’s Rudman Institute along with the Lebow College of Business and the Close School of Entrepreneurship. The talk will take place at 6:30pm in Lebow Hall (Grand Meeting Room, 33rd & Market Streets), followed by a reception.

Now in its seventh season, “Your Business” has profiled hundreds of small business owners, culled advice from a wide range of investors, and featured guests including Senate and House Small Business Committee members, the head of the Small Business Administration, and members of the Cabinet. Ramberg has been called upon as an expert in the field to moderate town halls, including for Small Business Week in Washington, D.C. Her own first-hand experience as an entrepreneur is as the co-founder of GoodSearch.com, a popular search engine that donates 50 percent of revenue to the charities and schools its users designate. Before joining MSNBC, Ramberg was a reporter at CNN where she covered a wide range of topics ranging from breaking news to profiles of the country’s top business leaders.
