How to Get Published

October 23, 2015

Are you pursuing publication of your research, but aren’t sure how to navigate the process? All faculty, graduate students, and staff are invited to a free workshop on November 4 with Intellect Books’ Head of Commissioning, James Campbell. Intellect Books is a dynamic publisher of contemporary, practice-based research in areas such as fashion, digital media, design, cultural studies, visual arts, film and popular culture. Mr. Campbell will discuss how to get research published in books and academic journals and offer sound advice, along with time for a Q&A session, at 4:00pm in URBN Center room 141 (3501 Market Street).

Mr. Campbell is responsible for commissioning content at Intellect and has expert knowledge in the realm of academic publishing. Intellect’s publications are often multidisciplinary and highly visual, all of their content is peer reviewed, and the company has an international partnership with the University of Chicago Press.

If you would like to suggest a topic to be covered in the session, please email James directly james@intellectbooks.com. He is also available for a select number of one-on-one meetings. For more information about the event, please contact Professor Joe Hancock at jhh33@drexel.edu.
