TV Management: Online

April 21, 2015

Westphal now offers an online version of our graduate Television Management program, which seeks to educate the field’s busy professionals in advanced business expertise for the new media world order of Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, YouTube, streaming on demand, and asynchronous viewing on a multitude of platforms. The curriculum crafts insight into programming, audience analytics, media technology, finance and more. The online program takes the same innovative approach as the on-campus program, addressing the new media ecology and the sea change in television, which faces new revenue models, constantly evolving technologies and changes in policy and the global marketplace. Now, students from around the world who are passionate about media, including early to mid-career professionals, can leverage this online program to take advantage of opportunities in the rapidly growing industry of convergent media. Click here to learn more and to apply.

Like the on-campus graduate program, the online program builds skilled and creative professionals to lead the future of content creation and delivery across all platforms and devices. It features a dedicated faculty of experienced national media professionals and a curriculum that combines practical knowledge with academic coursework. The program is offered as an MS or dual MS/MBA degree, and includes optional professional internships in Philadelphia, New York and Washington, D.C., as well as on-campus orientations and professional residencies in those cities.
