February 4, 2014

Four students from our Architecture program have work on display at the Center for Architecture's (CFA) annual Degrees of Design exhibit (1218 Arch St, Philadelphia, PA) running through through March 14.

The students and their instructors are: Patrick Barendt ("Reinventing Home" Competition, National Finalist, David Ade, 4th year Studio Coordinator/Instructor); Jacob Gulezian, (Bartram’s Garden Visitor Center, Frank deSantis, 4th year Studio Instructor); Daniel Brown (Skyscraper, Don Jones, 6th year Studio Coordinator/Instructor) and Aga Vinson (Thesis, Pearson Silver Medalist, Stephen Varenhorst, Thesis Critic).

Degrees of Design is the Center for Architecture’s annual exhibition featuring student work from Philadelphia’s five Architecture and Design schools. The participating schools each choose a selection of student work from various design departments within their institutions, from architecture and interior design to urban planning and landscape architecture. The work on display represents the diversity of pedagogical philosophies and teaching techniques among the schools.

The discussion will be led by Carol Hermann of Philadelphia University.
