Meet with the NAAB Visiting Team
March 7, 2012 — The NAAB Visiting Team will arrive on campus this coming weekend. Their visit will last from Saturday, March 10th through Wednesday, March 14th. The team members will visit classes during the day and at night on Monday and Tuesday and they will carefully review the content we all put together in the team room. The accrediting team will be meeting with a variety of people and organizations during their visit to Drexel to fully understand the intricacies of our program and its contributions to the larger University. It is important that the student perspective be well represented to the accrediting team in order for the team to develop a comprehensive understanding of the Drexel Architecture Program.
We would like to invite all student all to participate in a meeting with the NAAB Visiting Team on Monday, March 12 from 6 pm to 7 pm at Stein Auditorium (Nesbitt Hall, 33rd & Market Streets). This is a students only meeting so you can say what is on your mind about the program without any interference from faculty, staff or administration. As we stated in the Architecture Program Report, we consider the students to be one of the program’s greatest strengths and we want that strength to shine not just in the work you have produced but also in the meeting with the accreditation team.
While you are there, please make sure to check out the exhibition of faculty and alumni work at the Leonard Pearlstein Gallery and Chapman Court, the foyer of Nesbitt Hall. It is open until March 16th, 2012. Simultaneously there will be a student exhibit celebrating your achievements on show on the 4th floor Main. This exhibition is in addition to the work presented in the team room to show the depth and breadth of things you are doing while studying with us.
Thanks for your help with getting ready for this accreditation. It is a big event for our community!
