Boyd Matson has been bitten by just about any snake you can think of while traveling all seven continents as an award-winning reporter for National Geographic and PBS.  Tonight, February 16th, he's coming to Drexel to talk with us about his life as an adventure and expedition reporter. Matson will be in Bossone's Mitchell Auditorium at 6:30 PM. For those who attend, there's a chance to win a Rock Climbing party for up to 15 people at the new Rock Wall in the Rec Center and a pair of Native Trekking Sunglasses donated by Eastern Mountain Sports (EMS) in University City. All you have to do is show up.

Boyd was the longtime host of the award-winning series National Geographic Explorer and created the Wild Chronicles series which aired on PBS. He now takes a radio audience with him as he continues to scour the globe, offering rare access and in-depth reporting on the state of the natural world. Karen Curry, Executive Director of the Kal and Lucille Rudman Institute for Entertainment Industry Studies, will sit down with Boyd for an adventurous one on one that takes aim at his travels, which include three climbs up Mount Kilimanjaro, his reporting work, and his globe-trotting adventures.
