November 15, 2010 — Madko Concerts, the student-run concert promotion arm of the Music Industry Program, staged two electrifying concerts in Philadelphia. One concert took over The Balcony at the Trocadero with headliner Caithlin De Marrais supported by three local artists, Everyone Everywhere, Jet Set Sail and Bearings.
Then Madko moved to The Rotunda for a hip-hop concert featuring headliner Reef the Lost Cauze. Reef is a battle-tested MC who won the End of the Weak Challenge Champion at the Rock Steady Crew 27th Anniversary. He independently released the LP "Feast or Famine" to critical praise and more recently released "A Vicious Cycle." The bill also features MAD Dragon recording artist Kuf Knotz, whose debut solo album "Boombox Logic" has just been released. Kuf is the founder and front man of the Burndown Allstars and performed for several years with hip-hop ensemble The Hustle.
