Award-winning Israeli documentary filmmaker Ido Haar will be an artist in residence with our Film & Video Program. His films 9 Star Hotel and Melting Siberia enjoyed worldwide success, winning multiple festival awards, and on Monday, November 16th we'll screen Haar's documentary Melting Siberia at the Bossone Auditorium at 8 PM. The film was recently nominated for Best Documentary at the Israeli Academy Awards and is the emotional story of the filmmaker's search for his long-lost grandfather who disappeared over fifty years ago in Siberia. Film & Video Professor Zhenya Kiperman will host a Q&A session with the filmmaker after the screening.
