Posting Summary: The Department of Cinema & Television at Drexel University's Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts & Design seeks an accomplished digital media professional to fill a tenure-track 3D Modeling and Animation position in its Digital Media Program.
Qualifications: Should hold a Master's degree in a related field, or have a demonstrated body of exceptional professional accomplishments. The candidate should demonstrate proficiency in a broad array of media topics and skills which include traditional drawing, 2D/3D animation, 3D modeling, digital compositing, current rendering technologies, digital media history and theory, digital video technologies, visual effects, and character animation. A strong aesthetic sense and thorough knowledge of composition is also required.
Responsibilities: Responsibilities include teaching introductory to advanced studio and lecture courses, student advisement, pursuit of research and creative works, curriculum development, and service at collegiate and university levels.
