Architecture: Assistant Professor & Associate Program Director

Posting Summary: The Architecture Program at Drexel University seeks applicants for the tenure-track position of Assistant/Associate Professor and Associate Program Director beginning in September 2008. Responsibilities include: teaching studios, seminars and/or lecture courses; program development; and assisting the Program Director with a variety of administrative tasks.

Qualifications: The position requires a M. Arch. degree and significant experience in teaching, design, practice, research, and/or scholarship. Professional registration is desirable. Excellent management and interpersonal skills that will inspire the confidence of the faculty, students, and the larger architectural community are also highly valued. Specialized expertise in areas such as historic preservation, theory, urban design, sustainability, building technology, etc. should be highlighted in the application.
