Daniel Wallace teaches publishing, marketing, and communication courses for the Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts and
Design, the College of Arts and Sciences, and the Goodwin College of Professional Studies. Daniel is also a faculty advisor for both undergraduate and graduate students at Drexel. Prior to teaching, he worked to increase awareness and visibility of the College of Arts and Sciences Publication Management program through various strategic initiatives that included the creation of a dedicated landing page for current and potential students.
Daniel is a proven analyst, consultant, teacher, and project manager with experience in operations, communications and strategic management. Daniel’s breath of experience both within and outside of the publishing industry has enabled him to understand the challenges that this industry and similar industries face from the people, technology and process perspectives. He has worked with small- and large-scale companies in Philadelphia, including Philadelphia Media Network, Inc., the owners of Philadelphia Inquirer, Daily
News, and philly.com, and GritCity, Inc., an independent publisher focusing on visual art and contemporary culture.
Daniel currently works as a Senior Analyst at Amtrak performing operational and financial analyses on various business units. In
addition to his military training, Daniel holds a Master of Science in Publication Management and an MBA from Drexel University.
