Joe Marsini was the Director of Finance for NBC Universal’s Television Station in Philadelphia, NBC10 WCAU-TV. As Finance leader of the NBCU Owned-and-Operated Station in the Nation’s 4th largest market, Joe was responsible for all financial operations of the Station including: P&L management, strategic planning, financial reporting, and contract negotiations. Joe also led due diligence procedures on potential television station acquisition and Local Management Agreement (LMA) targets.
Joe’s expertise in the Broadcast industry includes ratings, programming, market positioning, launching new show formats, sales forecasting, digital media and related industry and technology trends.
Joe, a Certified Public Accountant, started his career in Public Accounting and gained expertise in a variety of industries before focusing on Television and Media. He has more than 15 years of finance, accounting, auditing and management experience.
Joe graduated with a BS in Accounting from the University of Delaware, where he also spent time as an overnight DJ on the University radio station before deciding that he was more suited for a career in the Accounting and Business side of Broadcasting.
