Jessica Klein began her television career at Sesame Street where she was responsible for signing Big Bird's autograph. She has written for audiences of all ages and won many awards for her work in both daytime and prime time drama, including two stints as head writer of As the World Turns and seven years in America's favorite zip code, Beverly Hills, 90210 where she rose through the ranks to become show runner. She also created the tween dramedy Just Deal, which ran on NBC for three seasons, and she wrote and produced Scout's Safari, the first American series shot entirely on location in Africa. She recently completed a screenplay scheduled to shoot next summer in the Middle East (if the producers can raise enough money) that's a true story about Israel's most notorious criminal and his relationship with a prison chaplain.
