Assistant Professor (Tenure-Track), Film & Video

The Drexel University Department of Cinema & Television in The Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts & Design in Philadelphia is looking for an accomplished filmmaker with professional credits, who’s ready to pass on what he or she knows to our eager, talented, and ambitious students.

We are offering a full-time tenure-track position with teaching, mentoring, administrative responsibilities, and expectations for continued work in film. Teaching experience and an advanced degree are valued, but not required. We are interested in your desire to pass on your expertise to students within a community of faculty that are comprised primarily of working professionals. We’ll also give you the freedom and flexibility you need to remain professionally active in your field.

Ideal candidates will be recognized film and television professionals, have a minimum of ten years experience in directing and/or producing, and have a good working knowledge of screenwriting, cinematography, and editing.
