Equipment Request Agreement

These policies are to insure that Design & Imaging Studios can honor all equipment reservations made throughout the College. Please keep in mind that the policies apply to all borrowers, whether they are faculty or staff.

Equipment Request Policies:

  • Laptops must be checked-out and then returned in person by the requestor to a Facility Manager in either Nesbitt 213 or Crossings 019.
  • D & I laptops should never be left unattended.
  • Reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Plan ahead. Recurring reservations for weekly classroom use should be made at least one week before the start of the term.
  • Reservations made within 24-hours of the requested setup require verbal confirmation from a D & I Facility Manager.
  • Equipment setups and break-downs are available during the following hours: Mon - Friday: 8:30AM- 9PM
  • Equipment requests are accepted up to 30 days in advance.
  • Equipment requests are considered reserved once they are submitted via our online form, unless notified otherwise.
  • You are advised to check your form thoroughly before submitting it online to insure that your information is correct.
  • Equipment cancellations are required so equipment is not left setup and unattended.
  • A reservation may be extended but should be requested before the equipment is due. The extension may be granted if it does not interfere with another reservation.
  • D & I equipment is for faculty and staff use only. Equipment may not be reserved for student use without the uninterrupted supervision of a faculty or staff member.
