Design & Imaging Studios

The Design & Imaging Studios are responsible for the imaging, installation and management of over 300 computers, printers and scanners at Drexel's Westphal College of Media Arts & Design. Our staff includes facility managers with expertise in both MAC and PC environments, as well as network and server administration. Our primary responsibility is to maintain highly functioning computer labs throughout the college. We also assist Westphal's faculty, staff and students with their day to day computing needs.

Each Westphal computer lab is configured according to the hardware and software needs of individual disciplines. For example, the labs in the Interior Design program are set up to meet the needs of the faculty and students in this program an therefore, all Interior Design computers are Windows-based. In contrast to Interior Design, the labs in the Film & Video program are all MAC-based to accommodate proprietary software and are setup to work with external components such as video decks and monitors.
